Sotavia checks the condition of pavements with a new automatic defect detection device using in-house technology.
When do we do it?
The street scanning takes place at night and at the usual speed for driving on urban roads.
How do we do it?
Data gathering system based on a vehicle equipped with a device that collects and analyses three-dimensional images of the pavement surface.
No impact
Scanning is quick and does not involve any type of impact on traffic.
Characterisation of the defects including depth map images and colour mask indicating the area of interest
Access
Results available on website and on mobile devices, allowing for in situ verification.
Display
Display of the location and characteristics of defects on a map of the city.
Degree of severity
Classification and display of defects with coloured circles indicating their degree of severity.
